Präsidium
As the president of VIS, my job is to ensure that VIS runs at every hour of the day. I also represent VIS in all official matters, be it in meetings with VSETH or the department. Besides that you will probably see me at various different events or in other VIS activities, so do not be shy and come say hi! If you have any complaints or ideas to make VIS even better, do not hesitate to write to me per Mail or on Slack.
Softwareentwicklungsverantwortlicher, Vize
I’m responsible for software development at VIS. This includes maintaining existing software, developing new features, and, of course, fixing bugs. If you’d like to help develop new features for Community Solutions or the Event Manager, or contribute to the new VIS website, then join CAT and stop by at one of our ThursdayHacks. If you have your own ideas that you’d like to implement, feel free to reach out to me and I’m happy to talk about them.
Quästur
Hi, I'm Emil, the Quaestur, which means I'm responsible for keeping our finances in order. That includes paying invoices, handling reimbursements, and applying the occasional bit of dark magic to keep Abacus working :) You'll find me at ovis fairly often, unless I've disappeared off to a hackathon. If you ever have a question about reimbursements, invoices, or anything else finance-related, feel free to come find me at ovis!
Hochschulpolitik
I came to one HoPo meeting out of curiosity and somehow never left. Together with Da Arda and our committee I represent our students towards the department, ETH and VSETH, which mostly means reading Studienreglemente so you never have to. The concrete version: if a lecture is badly run, an exam went wrong, or some rule is quietly ruining your semester, tell us and it ends up in front of the people who can actually change it. Complaining is not just allowed here, it’s the entire intake process. Looking forward to the semester with you all.
Hochschulpolitik
Our job (with ma boy Vasud) is to be reachable by our fellow students and make their voice heard. Therefore I'm always around. Unfortunately, most of what we do happens in the background but I take it upon myself to be transparent about what we do and why. That's why we keep organising HoPo events and Meetings. I urge you to join our Committee, if you are interested in understanding how decisions are made in ETH and how one could have -as tiny as it may be- influence on them. Everyone is welcome in HoPoKo. For those who don't know me (yet), I hope that the more you get to know me, the more you'll like me. Prejudices, they all come from ignorance. And if one can learn to hate, then one can learn to love...

Hey, I‘m Tim. I keep the server infrastructure up and running. That means making sure you can sign up for events and access our exam collection reliably. Most of the work happens in the background and only gets noticed when something breaks. Not that anything ever breaks. Every downtime is 100% intentional. If you‘d like to help with our infrastructure, swing by the next ThursdayHack and come talk to me.
External Relations
VIS does not have infinite money, so we need companies to sponsor us. I am responsible for begging for money. Join ERK to help VIS get more sponsorships, meaning more events and more free beer! ERK is also responsible for organizing workshops and guest lectures.

Student life is not only studying. With the many events brought to you by VIS FKK committee, I landed in the role of taking care of them. If you want to work together, organize event, party, grill, etc. drop me a message and we can figure it out! Let's go crazy!

Lernunterstützung
Known as the exam guy. Together with the great people in LUK, I take care of the exam collection, help organize the PVWs and mentoring events. We also do our best to make Lernphase more bearable with Gipfeli, ice cream, and a few other surprises along the way. If any of that sounds interesting to you, we’d love to have you join LUK! Infrastruktur
Hello, hello, hello I am Mark. This semester I'll be responsible for keeping VIS organized behind the scenes, when it comes to physical infrastructure. This also means that I have inherited the privilege of looking out for the coffee machines (yikes). Fun fact the other board members had an in depth course on how to clean them so feel free to hunt them down :)
Kommunikation
My job is to make sure you hear about everything going on at VIS and get to see some nice pictures of our events on Instagram. I'm trying to attend as many events as possible, but I can't always make it. So please take pictures and send them to me :) And since we got rid of Aktuar, you'll sometimes also get emails from me. I hate emails.
