Transport

In order to guarantee a cozy atmosphere and so that we all definitely get to know each other, we will move into a house in beautiful Langwies (Graubünden), which we will travel to by train. Departure: Friday, September 23, 2022, Zurich HB at the group meeting point at 4:00 p.m. Return: Sunday, September 25, 2022. Arrival in Zurich around 3 p.m.

At the meeting point, make sure that you stand next to the people with the VIS flag (yellow spiral with the lettering "VIS"), because the AMIV and the VMP also travel to their ESW at the same time. And you definitely don't want to spend a weekend with them;)

What to bring with you

Meals are included in the trip. So you basically only have to take with you what you otherwise consider to be vital for a 48-hour weekend trip ... Note from the Organising Committee: Your laptop is not vital. Trust us! (Especially since we cannot accept liability for things that are lost.)

Otherwise you need: a sleeping bag, fitted sheet and pillow case (if you cannot bring them you can get them for an extra charge of CHF 10) clothes toilet bag slippers, as shoes are forbidden in the whole house The house is located at 1400 m above Sea level, so make sure to bring warm clothes with you.

Depending on the weather, we will go on a hike on Saturday. So make sure to bring good enclosed shoes and a day pack.

If you've made it this far, you're on the right track. The costs including travel and meals are 55CHF.

On the first day of registration, we will prioritize Master students that are new at ETH, which is why everyone is set on the waiting list first. Important: if you are new at ETH but have studied at a Swiss university, please get in touch with the organizing committee.

Payment must be made by Wednesday, September 21st. otherwise the registration will be cancelled and the next one on the waiting list looks forward to their chance. You can either pay online or by cash by coming into the oVIS in the CAB building and paying there.

A reimbursement of the costs is excluded. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. All information provided may be subject to change.
