MoEB Hiking Weekend
Event start time 19.6.2026 07:00
Event end time 20.6.2026 17:45
Ready for a challenge with epic views as a reward?
Join MoEB for two full days of hiking through the stunning Swiss mountains! While you don't need to be a hiking pro, make sure you're in decent shape and up for a bit of adventure. Whether you're in it for the workout, the nature, or the good company—don't miss this opportunity!
The event is not exclusive to MoEB students, but will prioritize any Master's students at sign-up.
This event has a waiting list for everyone by default. Just because you are directly added to the waiting list does not mean the event is full.

Helpers Policy 🚨
Being a "Deputy" means you declare yourself ready to help coordinate the hikes, optionally lead a small group yourself, and, in the event of an emergency, can stay with any person(s) requiring care until professional help arrives. This ensures the event's continuation and may mean your trip onwards might be over (if catching up is no option). Deputy helpers get a 10 CHF discount on the price as compensation. Helpers must sign up for the event normally and tick the "apply for helper" checkbox!
Refund Policy 🔄
Under solid reasoning (death in family, sickness with medical report, cancellation of the hike, etc.), you will get your money back. No refunds are given if you must cancel the trip on your own accord (e.g., not in physical shape to complete the hike) or are excluded from the tour by the guide for reasons such as dangerous behavior.
The Fine Print 📜
- ❗ Unfortunately, you can only join for the entire trip and cannot opt out of single elements (e.g., paying for the train ticket yourself).
- ⚠️ The tour guide and mountain hut personnel reserve the right to exclude you from the group if you do not adhere to the VIS Code of Conduct or engage in other inadequate or dangerous behavior.
- 🔍 Every participant is responsible for their own insurance.
