While large-scale AI systems have attracted much of the attention in recent years, the technologies and techniques introduced have implications for traditional and heterogeneous systems as well. In this talk, we will cover three parts:
1) enabling technologies for future large scale systems, the challenges that present themselves, and the opportunities we see
2) a new KV cache compression method to address one of the key challenges for long context inference
3) matrix-multiplication-friendly large language model optimisations for linear attention.
