Versteisch Bahnhof? A Workshop on ML Engineering
Why should you join this workshop?
As you know, Machine Learning is a very powerful technology. Sadly, adoption in the industry has so far been fairly slow so far. One of the main reasons for this is that organizations struggle with managing such a system.
Together we bring in the engineer’s perspective and explore:
- Which challenges around machine learning arise in the industry?
- How can we manage a model's life cycle effectively?
- And how come Solothurndütsch is as smooth as milk with honey?
With your help we can bridge the gap between academia and industry. Join us for a hands-on workshop on bringing this exciting technology to production, and for pizza and skribble afterwards!
Please join us for this workshop on Tuesday, 04.05.21 at 5 p.m. on Google Meet. The link will be sent out shortly before the event.
We look forward to meeting you!
Valentin, Michael, Tobias & Simal

Meet the Hosts
Valentin is ex-VIS’ler and an enthusiastic computer scientist. He has been working as an IT consultant for almost two years now, and has been involved in several projects in German-speaking Switzerland. In his free time he can however still be encountered in the ASVZ :)
After several years in research (graph-based handwriting recognition), Michael joined ipt as a consultant last summer. Since then, he has been working in different projects helping customers to tackle real-world problems by machine learning approaches.
