What is it like to be a software engineer and site reliability engineer at Google? Join us as Googlers share day-in-the-life stories about their work and provide an inside look on what makes engineering at Google unique.

You will get the chance to meet Katya and Andy, engineers at Google and ask them any questions you might have about life at Google, opportunities at Google and interviews.

Katya, SWE at Google:

Katya graduated from Moscow State University and from 2010 till 2015 did her PhD in Machine Learning at ETH. After defending the thesis she first tapped into the finance industry and then, in 2017, on her second attempt joined Google as a Software Engineer. She currently works in Search Ranking and applies Machine Learning to make Google Search safer for all users.

Andy, SRE at Google:

Andy studied Electrical Engineering at ETH from 2010 to 2015. After graduating from ETH, he designed microchips for a number of years, before joining Google in 2018 as a Site Reliability Engineer. He now spends his time making sure Google’s services stay online.

So join us to learn more about them - we are looking forward to meeting you!

The maximum capacity of this live Google Meet event is 250 participants. Participants will be allowed to the event on a first come, first served basis. We hope you understand and we are looking forward to meeting you online!
